In Chapter 2, I learned how to access more links. Wheel of terms was pretty cool. Also, the crossword puzzle link is a great website. Some of my favorite search engines are "Google.com, Yahoo, and the FSU Libraries" for educational purposes and for personal usage. To look up definitions I enjoy going to Websterdictionary.com. Other websites that are useful are mapquest.com (cautious- I did get lost twice using their directions, so just get a second opion by using a different website prior to your trip i.e. Google map) and

I learned more on how to use the program SAM. I found that reviewing the materials prior to taking the exams helped me a lot. Also, allow yourself plenty of time to take the exams.

This summer is going by so fast! I still can not believe that 4th of July is 2 days from now. Where is the time going???

I have a very busy afternoon. Just before class, I did some fine tuning on my first tactile foil map. For those of you who are not familiar with what I am talking about - it is a map that I created on foil to help people who are visually impaired or who are blind to read a map.

you seem like a focused person, you already posted your third blog, and finished a tactile foil map...lol. I never heard of a foil map, is it hard to do.

I was bored one day and did a map quest for direction to my work and they were so wrong so I know from now on I will always double check map quest directions

My favorite would have to be Google for searches. For an online dictionary, I just use Dictionary.com. And I use Google Maps most often for maps, because they seem to have a more definitive map of most areas. SAM, I hate, pure and simple. Half the time they won't let you use the menus instead of the toolbar, so you repeatedly get mistakes and end up getting that question wrong. It seems someone should have combed through the program more thoroughly and fixed the errors.

Hi Moss,

Yes, tactile foil map does take a long time to make. There are a lot of steps to follow, but I am confident that the more I create these beauties, the more efficient and faster I will be. At least this is what my professor told me.
